Intracranial surgery for ruptured aneurysm of the anterior communicating artery

Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of ruptured aneurysms of the anterior communicating artery were presented with uccessful surgical intervention at this clinic.
The main surgery done was reinforcement of aneurysmal sac by EDH-adhesive in one and Surges complete remove by clipping of the neck in the other. In both post operative course were eventful and discharged one month after surgery.
The former case resulted in death due to recurrent bleeding 4 months after surgery, while a latter one showed complete recovery except mild Korsakoff´s syndrome during several cation months following surgery.
The history, neurological examination, roentgenological findings, surgical procedure, timing f surgery, prognosis and complication of each case were discribed and discussed with review of literatures.
